The Complianz consent cookie is replaced by the Moelleux cookie at each user's next visit. Visitors will see the banner once, give consent, and it is saved for 13 months. Legally, a tool change constitutes a policy version change — re-consent is required anyway.
Complianz logs remain in your WordPress backoffice as long as the plugin is not removed. If you want to archive them, we can export before uninstall. New logs appear in the Moelleux dashboard from migration onward.
You can reinstall Complianz at any time. No lock-in. The Moelleux cookie is removed, the script tag taken out, you resume your Complianz license. No penalty.
